nate@natemyers.comI just thought id give you, in my own words what I and this band are all about. I started playing harp in the early nineties. I wanted to be Rice Miller in the worst way. A friend of mine turned me unto all the harp greats. I spent a lot of time trying to be them. One January my buddy, Pat, took me to Chicago. We met Big Bill Dicey and Billy Branch, both proteges of the great Walter Horton in one way or another. They both told me Walter would say "just be yourself." There was one Big Walter and there is one me. It's an ongoing struggle but I keep trying to be myself. I've played a lot of blues, some country, some funk, some delta, and jammed a little bit too. I've had the opportunity to open for and play with a lot of the greats. I will always give you the best show that my band and I can give. If you really want to know what we're about watch our YouTube video's, check out our press, listen to our sound clips, talk to our friends and enemies then come visit with us. We'll give you the best we got and leave the rest up to you. Thanks ~ N
Pete NetznikBass and vocals

cheese@natemyers.comKnown by his friends as "Cheese", Pete has 25 years of professional experience composing, recording and performing in a wide variety of musical situations, including musical theater and studio session work. Admittedly, he gets the most satisfaction from the interaction and interplay between musicians in a live, improvisational setting... and what better setting than blues music! He has performed in many Central PA groups varying in styles such as bluegrass, country, blues, big band, psychedelic and modern rock.
Pete credits his musical influences as Paul Simon, Jerry Garcia, Willie Nelson, Big Jack Johnson, B.B. King, Willie Dixon, Slim Harpo and John Fogarty. His traditional approach to bass compliments the talents of his band mates and allows space for them to shine.
In addition to working with Nate Myers & the Aces, Pete currently plays Mandobass in the Harrisburg Mandolin Ensemble and teaches bass and guitar at Triple R Guitar in Lemoyne, PA.

chris@natemyers.comChris joined the Aces in March 2007 and brings with him rootsy acoustic guitar styles in addition to his energetic electric playing. Chris is an experienced songwriter with hundreds of songs to his credit.
Jeff CameronGuitar

Jeff Cameron brings a strong blues foundation to the guitar role in NM&A. Although he especially loves the blues (in particular, the early post-war harmonica driven blues of traditional Chicago and the jumping swing of West Coast blues to the hypnotic drone blues of the Mississippi Hill Country), his tastes in music is very broad. Rocksteady (early reggae), early funk/soul and African funk music are all part of his regular listening and influences and sometimes show during some of the bands more free form improvisational spots. Some of his guitar influences include Louis Myers, Eddie Taylor, Robert Jr Lockwood, Luther Tucker, Hollywood Fats, Junior Watson, Kirk Fletcher, Rusty Zinn and Bob Welsh. Jeff also plays traditional blues, jump and NOLA style blues in the Philadelphia area.
Jeff has been fortunate to share the stage with Steve Guyger, Dennis Gruenling and the Hollywood Blue Flames and has jammed with Rusty Zinn.
